Back in 1995 Dan Sweeting, John Miles and Hadleigh Ford would get together in Dan's family garage to play songs together and 'jam'. During this time they wrote one song 'Supersonic Rocket' and entered and did suprisingly well at a Battle of the bands competition playing cover versions of material by STP, Lemonheads and the Chillies.
They then met Dan Sheehan who was a guitarist & songwriter on the local scene. Dan joined the band and brought this song with him. After jamming it out together and adding the Oedipus trademark 'la, na, nas ' to the bridge, the band had there first song and when Alex Arnold joined, a full line-up :-)
