Many thanks to Michael Charles Hill for allowing me to post this version online. Please check out the original episode, it's brilliant!

This cover version was recorded specially for the G.I.Joe Podcast FlagPoints for the occasion of their 1st Birthday!

Happy Birthday FlagPoints! You can find the full podcast on iTunes under FlagPoints.

The song Cold Slither comes from the G.I.Joe Cartoon episode of the same name. Although it is never played in full during the episode I've pieced the sections as best I could to make this version.

I was really pleased that Ripper turned up to record the vocals for the session. A few doughnuts and some Grape soda and he pulled of a one-take wonder!

lyrics

Cold Slither

We're cold slither you'll be joining us soon
A band of vipers playing our tune

With an iron fist and a reptile hiss we shall rule!

We're tired of words
We've heard it before
We're not gonna play the game no more

Don't tell us what's right
Don't tell us what's wrong
Too late to resist
Cause Cobra is strong

We're cold slither
Heavy metal machine
Through the eyes of a lizard
In you will dream
